Outgoing President's Message - Roger Leakey

As from yesterday's AGM, NSDA is under new management. I would like to wish the new Management Committee all the best for the future of the Network and I would particularly like to thank the very many people who helped me over the last 4-5 years in numerous ways to make NSDA the success it is. We have come a very long way, especially given the very modest financial support that we have been able to attract. Very many people have given their time, skills and talents free of charge and I am very grateful to them for this sacrifice.

I believe that NSDA has a very important role to play in the Region and I hope the new Committee may be able to take tings forwards in the many different directions that are needed. Now that the NSDA interactive website (www.nsda.org.au) is up and running the membership has many new opportunities to benefit from the wealth of knowledge and information within the membership. I hope that you will all take advantage of that and also help to build up the resource by placing documents etc into the database.

Finally I would like t thank the Committee for making me an Honorary Lifetime Member of NSDA. I am moving on into some version of retirement and look forward to continuing interaction with you.
