Margaret Barwick and Anton van der Schans, the Author and Editor of "Tropical & Subtropical Trees", will be attending. 
Margaret and Anton have already given great support to the Tropical Flowers & Trees Australia Network.

This network arose from a meeting of interested people in February and has been growing in numbers since. The prospects are that it will result in forming an association comprised of hobbyists, specialists and botanical gardens both within Australia and overseas.

It will be inclusive of many tropicals - trees, shrubs, climbers - and will complement rather than rival, other tropical and specialist plant groups worldwide. 
Look out for Margaret and Anton at the Cairns show, the TFTA will have a stand there .

"Participation" can be as little as minding the stall for an hour, talking to tropical plant lovers, or having the special pleasure of meeting these two very knowledgeable tropical plant people.
