FNQ 2025 Regional Plan Community Forum
The QLD State Government is currently developing FNQ 2025: a major Regional Plan which will guide growth and development in our region for the next 20 years and have statutory powers to direct and prohibit urban growth in certain areas. The next community meeting is today, Tuesday 27th of November 2007, 5.45pm at the Merriland Cafeteria, Atherton Show Grounds.

Come and talk to community representatives and the planners about:

* which areas in and around Atherton would you like to see urbanised or protected?

* which key issues need to be addressed in FNQ 2025?

* how do you think development in our region could be improved?

This community forum will begin with presentations from CAFNEC and the Department of Local Government & Planning representatives and then proceed to a facilitated discussion about community aspirations for our settlements and environment.

Entry is free. A light supper will be provided. RSVP: This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it or Phone: 4093 9779
