| In-Market Experience Scholarships |
The 2007 round of the In-Market Experience Scholarships is now open. The 2007 round will close 5.00pm EST 19 July 2007. Each scholarship of $12,500 will help managers or emerging managers from small-to-medium sized agribusiness work for 3 months to 1 year to:
Recipients develop their own program of in-market visits and research and select courses suited to their needs. Activities may include formal education, general business and sector-specific training, attendance at trade shows and conferences, as well as other in-market research and consultancies relating to commercialising new opportunities.
When you apply you must:
You are eligible to apply if you: have a new innovative agribusiness product, service or technology, and are a manager or a senior employee of a small-to-medium sized agribusiness in Australia in which effective control is exercised by a person or people ordinarily resident in Australia, and need to develop new skills, contacts and source information to help commercialise your new product, service or technology.
You can use your In-Market Experience Scholarship funds to cover the costs of: education and training, domestic and overseas travel, accommodation and out-of-pocket expenses, marketing analysis and business planning, and other activities associated with research, trialing and collecting information to help complete the project.
