These are the questions addressed in a public forum on 11th July @ the TANKS as part of the 2007 emPower Energy Fest. About forty people participated in a lively brainstorming session and together we came up with a wonderful vision of what we would FNQ to look like by 2025, which was supplied to the FNQ 2025 planners.

September the 7th, National Threatened Species Day for 2007, is fast approaching. The Threatened Species and Ecosystems Unit, EPA, is co-ordinating events across Queensland during Threatened Species Week 2nd to 8th September. This year the theme will be a focus on aquatic plant and animal species, and the slogan will be Get off our backs!
You are all invited to get involved to raise awareness about the key messages, and see where this theme can be highlighted in existing work.
